Outside Resource
I talked to Mr. Schemper, with Katie, for my outside resource. I chose him since he teaches and knows a lot about photography and different effects and angling and that type of stuff. The question that we asked was what we were able to do for special effects. He told us lots of different things to be able to try, but he always wasn't sure how'd it would turn out since a pinhole camera is just a little different than a normal camera. One idea he suggested was for us to start taking a picture in one place, and then halfway through close the camera and move to another place and then finish the time. Another idea he thought of was trying to use a mirror to see if the picture would be affected in anyway or not. Something I want to try, that he suggested, is to have movement in the photo, such as a person or even an object. Another thing I would like to try, that he suggested, is to draw something in the picture with some source of light. He also talked a little bit about aperture and how that affects the photo with more or less light.
With Mr. Schemper's advice, he gave me new ideas to try and, possibly, get some cool special effect photos that are more than just the basic ones. I also was able to understand more about aperture and how that affects the photo (greater aperture means more light).
